Let's Create Opera!—Learn the Entire Production: Direction, Set Design, Stage Management, Costumes, Lighting, and Production

This workshop features an exciting program for creating an opera for the Tokyo Bunka Kaikan Opera Box with professional creators, having the participants involved from the initial preparation.

• Ages & Target Participants
Age 18–25 (Shall be consulted if the applicant is younger or older than the qualified ages)
⁃ University or College students
⁃ Those who study set designs or arts management
⁃ Those who aim to become set designers, stage creators, or music-related technical staffs

• Applicant Eligibility
You must participate during the whole period from the initial preparation through the actual performance date. (Early Aug–Sun, Sep 25, 2022)

• Maximum number of participants
Approx. 5–10

• How to apply
Application Form (The form is only in Japanese.) The application has been closed.

⁃ You will receive an auto entry completion message immediately after submitting the form.
To ensure that you receive emails from us, please add the domain “@t-bunka.jp” to the whitelist such as approved sender list you have enabled them on your email setting.
⁃ Once you receive the auto entry completion message after submitting the application form, please make sure to enter your available dates for the workshop in another form linked in the auto message. Your application will be completed by submitting this second form.
⁃ The result notification will be sent by email in mid-July. If you do not receive the notification email on Mon, Jul 25 or later, please contact us.
⁃ We do not answer to any inquiries on the result of drawing lots for choosing participants.
⁃ Please process the payment following the notification attached with the result only sent to the participants.
