Studied chamber music under ICHITSUBO Toshihiko, YAMADA Momoko, NOGUCHI Chiyoko, KIKUCHI Tomoya, TAMAI Natsumi, EGUCHI Akira, and HAMASAKI Yuki. Participated in masterclasses and lessons by Steven ISSERLIS, Antonio MENESES, Frans HELMERSON, Wolfgang BOETTCHER, Philippe MULLER, Ludwig QUANDT, and Emma FERRAND.

2023 | Won Acanthus Music Prize for Graduate School when receiving the master’s degree from the Graduate School of Music, Tokyo University of the Arts 2nd Place, the 15th Viva Hall Cello Competition (Japan) |

Yamamoto is the cellist at the Tokyo Metropolitan Symphony Orchestra since October 2022.
