Music Program TOKYO Music Education Program

Let's Create Opera!—Perform the opera characters (Chorus, Acting, Instrumental Ensemble)

This popular program is linked to the Tokyo Bunka Kaikan Opera BOX, giving kids challenge to create a full-scale opera.
Let's perform in an opera joining the "Chorus, Acting, Instrumental Ensemble" workshop! The program will help participants develop their communication skills and refine their sensibilities, creating opera production with leading musicians and planners.

Presentation of the workshop results The participants will appear on the stage of "Tokyo Bunka Kaikan Opera BOX: Special Highlights Vol.1" on Sat, Sep 18.
* The participants may appear on the stage of "Tokyo Bunka Kaikan Opera BOX: Special Highlights Vol.2" on Sun, Sep 19 as well.
Venue Tokyo Bunka Kaikan and other venues
* Caregivers of the 4th grade or younger elementary school students must pick-up/drop-off their children at the venue.

* The application must be postmarked by the deadline. * The application period has been extended. (The result will be sent in early July.)
How to apply
  1. Download the application form on this page and fill out the form.
  2. Send the form by post to the below address with a replying Choukei #3 envelope (120 x 235 mm), with your name and address filled in and 94yen stamp attached.
  3. The result notification will be sent by post to all the applicants. We do not answer to any inquiries on the result by telephone.
  4. Please process the payment following the notification attached with the result only sent to the participants.
    * Please note that the documents submitted will not be returned to the applicants.
    * You can apply for the workshop program "Let's Create Opera!—Create props for the opera stage (Crafts making)" as well.
