Music Program TOKYO Music Education Program

Let's Create Opera!—Create props for the opera stage (Crafts making)

This popular program is linked to the Tokyo Bunka Kaikan Opera BOX, giving kids challenge to create a full-scale opera.
Let's create props and ornaments for an opera stage joining the "Crafts Making" workshop! The craft works that the participants make will be on stage of the Tokyo Bunka Kaikan Opera BOX. It will be an exciting opportunity to experience an important process for set designing. The participants will also see the dress rehearsal, enabling them to get involved from the stage creation process to the performance day.

* Each class completes in one time. Please select one from [1]-[4].
* Caregivers of the 4th grade or younger elementary school students must pick-up/drop-off their children at the venue.

* Participating in only the dress rehearsal viewing is not allowed. (The dress rehearsal viewing is free of charge.)
* One companion per participant is invited to the dress rehearsal viewing. Preschool children are not allowed to attend the rehearsal.
* We will use certain parts of created works for the actual props and stage set of the performance.
* This dress rehearsal is for the Tokyo Bunka Kaikan Opera BOX: Special Highlights Vol.1.

* Participants will be determined by lot if the number of applications exceeds the limit.

* One application per person.
* After submitting the application, you will receive the application completion notification by email. To ensure that you receive emails from us, please add the domain “@t-bunka.jp” to the whitelist such as approved sender list you have enabled them on your email setting.
* You can apply for the workshop program "Let's Create Opera!-Perform the opera characters (Chorus, Acting, Instrumental Ensemble)" as well.
* The result will be sent to all the applicants. We do not answer to any inquiries on the result.

* The workshop is conducted only in Japanese.
* Caregivers are not allowed to stay with the participants during the workshop class.
