Arts & Culture Partnership Program by Tokyo Metropolis and Nishitokyo City Musical Instruments Challenge with Everyone 2025 & Handmade Concert with Everyone in Nishitokyo 2025
For the first part of the event, we will hold a workshop focused on learning rhythms through body tapping and simple percussion performances.
In the second part, there will be a free concert featuring a performance by a professional brass quintet and a final presentation showcasing the workshop participants’ skills!

[1] Musical Instruments Challenge with Everyone 2025 No worries if you have never played a musical instrument or cannot read sheet music! How about enjoying a fun time exploring instruments with professional musicians? Let’s discover your own fantastic sounds at this event! Musical Instruments Workshop for Children The workshop is aimed at experiencing the joy of an ensemble using simple rhythm instruments (guiro, shaker, tambourine, frame drum). * Please note that participants must appear in the concert of program [2] after the lunch break. (Participants are asked to bring your own lunch.)
[2] Handemade Concert with Everyone in Nishitokyo 2025 Enjoy a performance by a professional brass quintet and a final presentation showcasing the workshop participants’ skills. It is a free concert; anyone aged 3 or older can attend with a registration in advance.
