Music Program TOKYO Music Education Program Lecture by Josephine STEPHENSON
Featuring Contemporary Music

Josephine STEPHENSON is an up-and-coming composer who is now captivating Europe, showcasing genre-less works beyond classical music. In this program, she is going to talk about her new work “KAGUYA—the daughter tree.” In addition, the Japanese composer YOKOYAMA Mioko, whom Kaija SAARIAHO recognized, will talk about her new work that the Tokyo Bunka Kaikan has commissioned. The cellist MORITA Keisuke, an attention-getting fresh talent, will perform Stephenson and Yokoyama’s works as well.
At the end of this talk event, you will fully get the charm of their works.
