Team Up for Opera!—Perform in the Opera: “Chorus”

Let’s sing a full-scale opera in English with a chorus group of music college students! This workshop gives participants a chance to perform alongside professional singers, getting into character and learning choreography!
Application Guidelines

High school students who belong to a singing group, such as chorus and musical clubs in schools, or local chorus groups
• Venue
Tamashin RISURU Hall (Tachikawa Civic Hall), Komae Ecorma Hall, FSX Hall (Kunitachi Community Arts Center), and other venues
• Schedule

* It is preferable to be able to attend all the scheduled rehearsal dates.
• Presentation of the workshop results
The participants will appear on the stage of Team Up for Opera! Amahl and the Night Visitors for both the following performances.

⁃ For measuring the head circumference, please measure around the head as the red line in the following image.

⁃ You will receive the notification of application completion by email once you submit the form. To ensure that you receive emails from us, please add the domain “@t-bunka.jp” to the whitelist such as approved sender list you have enabled on your email setting.
⁃ The acceptance/rejection notification will be sent by email in late June.
⁃ Participants will be notified by mail with enclosed information on the participation fee payment. Please process the payment as per the information. Those who are not accepted will be notified by email. Please contact us if you do not receive any notification after Fri, Jun 26.

• About Next Creation Program
The Next Creation Program is an experience-based arts and culture program targeted at children undertaken by the Tokyo Metropolitan Government and the Tokyo Metropolitan Foundation for History and Culture. Young participants can receive guidance from leading professionals in various fields, engaging in hands-on creative experiences tailored to their interests. This approach enables them to learn at a deeper and more advanced level. Understanding and nurturing the children’s dreams in the arts and culture and their personalities, the program aims to help develop thriving talents.
