1996 2nd Place, Middle School Category, Nagoya Regional, the Student Music concours of Japan
1999 Attended the 4th Hamamatsu International Piano Academy;
at the competition of the academy, won 2nd place and Special Jury Prize
2004 Attended the 9th Hamamatsu International Piano Academy and at the competition of the academy, won the Diploma Award
Semi-finalist, Piano Category, the 2nd Sendai International Music Competition
2006 Finalist, the 1st Minoru Nojima Yokosuka Piano Competition
Best Accompanist Prize, Yuai German Lied Competition
2007 Took Ivo Pogorelich's master class
3rd Place, Piano Section, the 5th Tokyo Music Competition

Further Activities

Previously, Ifuku has performed with various orchestras including the Japan Philharmonic Orchestra, the Sendai Philharmonic Orchestra, the Central Aichi Symphony Orchestra, and the student orchestra of Tokyo University of the Arts. Ifuku is also focusing on training younger generations; he is currently a part-time teacher at Tokyo University of the Arts, after his experience as a part-time teacher at Music High School Attached to the Faculty of Music, Tokyo University of the Arts.

Repertoire

A wide repertoire from Baroque to Modern and Contemporary including chamber music and vocal music accompaniment.
