Teachers

Studied bassoon under SAKAI Yuka, KAMIYAMA Jun, INOUE Toshitsugu, and OKAMOTO Masayuki. Took the class of David SEIDEL at the 29th Hamamatsu International Wind Instrument Academy and Festival. Studied chamber music under KAKIZAKI Kouzou, HIDAKA Takeshi, SAITO Yusuke, SATO Yuki, and FUKUSHI Mariko.

Further Activities

Kono is a scholarship recipient of the Aoyama Music Foundation 2023.
In the same year, she performed Weber’s Bassoon Concerto with the Geidai Philharmonia Orchestra, Tokyo in the morning concert at Tokyo University of the Arts. She was also awarded the MIYATA Ryohei Scholarship in 2023 at the university.

Repertoire

Kono is studying works for solo, concerto, chamber music, and orchestra in a wide range of fields from baroque to contemporary music. In chamber music, she is skilled at wind trio, wind quintet, and bassoon ensemble.
