Previously studied piano under IIZUKA Maki, OGAWA Kumi, SANO Midori, TAZAKI Etsko, and WAKABAYASHI Akira. Studied chamber music under FUJII Kazuoki.
Received guidance in masterclasses by Nicholas RIMMER, Bod LEHEL, György NÁDOR, Bronisława KAWALLA, Philippe GIUSIANO, Kevin KENNER, and Cyprien KATSARIS.

Further Activities

Until now, Nakajima has performed with the Japan Philharmonic Orchestra and the Pacific Philharmonia Tokyo (formerly known as the Tokyo New City Orchestra). Solo recitals include “Recital Series of Young Musician Training Project” organized by the Japan Federation of Musicians and the Agency for Cultural Affairs, Government of Japan; “Toho Gakuen Omotesando Salon Concert Series”; “Setagaya Art Museum Promenade Concert”; and so on. He has also performed in various concerts at the Suntory Hall, the Kioi Hall, the Hamarikyu Asahi Hall, the Kawai Omotesando Concert Salon Pause, the Yamaha Ginza Concert Salon, the MS&AD Shirakawa Hall, the Concert Hall at the Denki Bunka Kaikan, the Munetsugu Hall, the Sands Theatre at Marina Bay Sands (Singapore), and more.

Repertoire

Nakajima has a wide range of repertoire from Baroque to Modern to Contemporary era, and is particularly good at Romantic pieces by composers such as Schubert, Chopin, Schumann, and Liszt. Apart from solo works, he is also actively working on many duets, chamber music, and concertos.
