Repertoire

For solo, Shirai plays original works for tuba and works for all kinds of other instruments from Classical era to Contemporary era. For ensemble music, he plays not only orchestral works but also a wide range of classical music from trombone/brass duos to brass dectets, to small wind bands and brass ensembles. He also does a wide range of performance activities such as in bars, indoor and outdoor concerts, recitals, and concertos in concert halls.
