A popular program linked to the Tokyo Bunka Kaikan Opera Box gives kids challenge to create a full-scale opera

Application Guidelines

Date & Time Ages	Thu (NH), Jul 23–Sun, Aug 30, 2020 Elementary school–High school students
Presentation of the workshop results	The participants will appear on the stage of the opera performance on Sun, Aug 30.
Venue	Tokyo Bunka Kaikan and other venues *Caregivers of the 4th grade or younger elementary school students must pick-up/drop-off their children at the venue.

Maximum number of participants	approx. 15 （Sing, Act: approx. 10/ Dance: approx. 5） *A lottery drawing shall be conducted if the number of applications exceeds the limit. *The workshop is conducted only in Japanese.

Workshop fee	2,200yen
Application period	Thu, May 7–Fri, Jun 12, 2020 (The result will be sent in early July.) *The application must arrive no later than the designated period. *The result will be sent by post to all the applicants. We do not answer to the inquiries on the result.
How to apply	Download the application form on this page and fill out the form. Send the form by post to the below address enclosing with a self-addressed and 84yen-stamped replying envelope (Choukei-#3: 120 x 235 mm). After closing the application, the result notification will be sent by post to all the applicants. Please process the payment following the notification attached with the result only sent to the participants. *Please note that the documents submitted will not be returned to the applicants. *You can apply for all workshop classes; however, you cannot participate in 2 or more classes.
