Festival de l’Intemporel
Produced by NODAIRA Ichiro
About Festival de l’Intemporel
The Tokyo Bunka Kaikan has launched a new project, Festival de l’Intemporel, where
classical and contemporary music cross over one another.
Produced by our music director, NODAIRA Ichiro (composer and pianist), the festival is going to
collaborate with Festival Les Volques (Nîmes, France) and IRCAM (Paris, France); it will run from
Wednesday, November 27 through Sunday, December 1.
This year, we focus on four composers from classical and contemporary fields, pairing Beethoven with
Philippe MANOURY, and Schubert with Helmut LACHENMANN.
Please join us for various programs, including concerts, masterclasses, lectures, and the
collaboration of a silent film and electronic music, sharing a moment beyond time.
