This popular program is linked to the Tokyo Bunka Kaikan Opera BOX, giving kids the challenge to create a full-scale opera. Let’s create crafts related to an opera production joining the “Crafts Making” workshop! Not only will the participants be invited to the dress rehearsal of the Opera BOX on Sep 23, but also their works created at the workshop will be exhibited in the foyer of the Tokyo Bunka Kaikan Recital Hall on the day of the performance!

• Presentation of the workshop results will be at: ⁃ the dress rehearsal viewing on Sat, Sep 23 ⁃ the exhibition of created crafts * Participating in only the dress rehearsal viewing is not allowed. (The dress rehearsal viewing is free of charge.) * One companion per participant is invited to the dress rehearsal viewing. Pre-school children are not allowed to attend the rehearsal. * We may use certain parts of created works for the actual props and as the stage set of the performance. * This dress rehearsal is for the Tokyo Bunka Kaikan Opera BOX: Help, Help, the Globolinks!—The Alien Invasion. |

To ensure that you receive emails from us, please add the domain “@t-bunka.jp” to the whitelist such as approved sender list you have enabled them on your email setting. ⁃ Those who are eligible for this program can also apply for “Let’s Create Opera!—Perform the Opera Characters: ‘Chorus and Acting’ ‘Dance.’” (Participants will be determined by lot if the number of applications exceeds the limit.) ⁃ The acceptance/rejection notification will be sent by email in early July. If you do not receive the notification email after Fri, Jul 21, please contact us. ⁃ We do not answer to any inquiries on the result of drawing lots. ⁃ The application will not be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. |
