This popular program is linked to the Tokyo Bunka Kaikan Opera BOX, giving kids the challenge to create a full-scale opera.
Let’s perform in an opera joining the “Chorus and Acting” and “Dance” workshops! The program will help participants develop their communication skills and refine their sensitivity, creating opera production with leading musicians and planners.

Elementary School–High School Students

• Venue
Tokyo Bunka Kaikan, Tokyo Metropolitan Theatre, and other venues
* Caregivers of the 4th grade or younger elementary school students must pick-up/drop-off their children at the venue.

• Presentation of the workshop results
The participants will appear on the stage of Tokyo Bunka Kaikan Opera BOX: Help, Help, the Globolinks!—The Alien Invasion on Sun, Sep 24.

• Maximum number of participants
Chorus and Acting: Approx. 20
Dance: Approx. 5
* Participants will be determined by lot if the number of applications exceeds the limit.

• How to apply
1. Download the application form on this page and fill out the form.
2. Send the form by post to the below address with a replying Choukei #3 envelope (120 x 235 mm), with your name and address filled in and 94yen stamp attached.
3. The acceptance/rejection notification will be sent by post to all the applicants. We do not answer to any inquiries on the result by any means of communication such as telephone.
4. Please process the payment following the steps attached with the notification only sent to the participants.
* Please note that the documents submitted will not be returned to the applicants.
* Those who are eligible for this program can also apply for “Let’s Create Opera!—Create Props for the Opera Stage: ‘Crafts Making.’” (Venue: Tokyo Bunka Kaikan, Tamashin RISURU Hall)
