Music Program TOKYO Workshop Workshop! Convivial Project Music in Mind—Music workshop for people living with dementia and their carers

Is it difficult for you to communicate using a language because of dementia? Are you struggling to find your best way of communication?
In this workshop, you are going to use various musical instruments and your voice to make your own language through sounds. British professional orchestra musicians will guide you during the workshop. One of them is a music therapist as well. So please do not worry if you have never played instruments. We would like your carers to join as well.

"Where language is beyond some individuals, music becomes that language."

In this music workshop, we will deliver "Music in Mind." It is a music-making program developed by the Manchester Camerata for people with dementia and their carers. We will aso feature Japanese musicians. So let's spend "right now at this moment" together, with joy and smiles through music.
