This popular program is linked to the Tokyo Bunka Kaikan Opera BOX, giving challenges for young people to create a full-scale opera.
Let’s perform in an opera joining the “Chorus and Acting” workshop! The program will help participants develop their communication skills and refine their sensitivity, creating opera production with leading musicians and planners.

* Caregivers of the 4th grade or younger elementary school students must pick-up/drop-off their children at the venue.

The participants will appear on the stage of Tokyo Bunka Kaikan Opera BOX: Tosca on Sun, Sep 15.

Approx. 20
* Participants will be determined by lot if the number of applications exceeds the limit.

⁃ For measuring the head circumference, please measure around the head as the red line in the following image.

⁃ You will receive the notification of application completion by email once you submit the form. To ensure that you receive emails from us, please add the domain “@t-bunka.jp” to the whitelist such as approved sender list you have enabled on your email setting.
⁃ The acceptance/rejection notification will be sent by email in late June.
⁃ Participants will be notified by mail with enclosed information on paying the participation fee. Please process the payment following the information. Those who are not accepted will be notified by email. Please contact us if you do not receive any notification by Fri, Jul 5.
⁃ We do not answer any inquiries on the screening result.
⁃ Those who are eligible for this program can also apply for “Let’s Create Opera!—Create Props for the Opera Stage ‘Crafts Making’ (Venue: Shakujiikoen Furusato Museum [Sun, Aug 18], Tokyo Bunka Kaikan [Mon, Aug 19]).”
