2006 Took lessons with Nakamura Hiroko, etc. at the Hamamatsu International Piano Academy
2010 Graduated from the Music High School Attached to the Faculty of Music, Tokyo University of the Arts and entered the Faculty of Music at Tokyo University of the Arts
2013 Studied chamber music at Tokyo University of the Arts, performed in chamber music recitals passing the chamber music performance exam
2014 Graduated from the Faculty of Music at Tokyo University of the Arts and entered the Graduate School of Music at Tokyo University of the Arts. Attended the Music Alp International Music Academy (France) taking lessons and performing in the selected students concert.
Currently master's student at the Graduate School of Music at Tokyo University of the Arts

Teachers

Previously studied piano under Takahashi Noriko, Kojima Motoko, Shiraishi Mitsutaka, Itoh Kei and chamber music under Kato Hiroshi and Itoh Kei

Further Activities

Other than solo piano performance, Kaihara is actively working on chamber music, especially with string instruments.

Repertoire

Baroque to contemporary.
At the moment I am particularly fond of Mozart, Chopin, Schumann, Ravel, Rachmaninoff. I am also actively working on chamber music, which is my favorite, from piano trios to quintets and pieces with string instruments.
